Our Aims
Zen Oriental Journeys aim to provide wonderful tours all over Asia which are not only unique, but expose you to cultures well beyond a superficial or artificial experience. Although we include the ‘must see’ places’, we take you to hidden treasures and engage with places rarely visited by mass tourism. We aim to have small groups (usually 16-24) wherein you are an individual and which enables you to have a fulfilling and enjoyable time. You’ll be travelling with congenial companions, self-selected by common interests and many of whom are repeat customers in a more mature age-bracket. You’ll have everything expertly arranged; a full guide service, air-conditioned high quality and safe vehicles, (that is if you are not enjoying a river boat, camel or elephant ride, cable car or hot air balloon!), and a very high standard of accommodation. If the tour is well off the beaten track (such as through the tribal lands of India’s Orissa State, or even parts of Rajasthan), our tour is accompanied in addition by a member of our local office. We aim for faultless administration from your first contact with us until well after the tour returns home.
